Seattle Adventure Comes to an end
I have spent two weeks in Seattle and my adventure has come to an end. I did my wedding dress fitting, found wedding shoes, went on two hikes, did two paddles, went on many walks, hung out a lot with my niece, got a tour of King5 TV station, rode a segway, and Bebeth and Mark managed to put up with me that whole time. It is back to the East Coast for our friends, Ann and Joe, wedding. Here are pictures from my two week adventure and to see more click here.

Favorite Weekend
My favorite weekend of the year was a few weeks ago. Every Memorial Day my family enters the General Clinton Canoe Regatta. It is a 30 mile relay race on the Susquehanna River that can't be missed. My Dad entered with his crew team 39 years ago and everyone just keeps coming back. This year we entered two teams, the Blue Lining and and Red Lining and we met our goal, not to come in last. Unfortunately I hurt my back so I couldn't paddle but we had perfect weather and we couldn't have asked for more.

Sunday Adventure
What a better way to spend a Sunday than hiking! Bebeth, Mark, Sabine, and I headed up Snoqualmie Pass to hike up Denny Creak. A bridge was out so our hike was cut short but that meant more time for wings and beer when we got home. Here are two photos from our hike. Check out the rest at Bebeth and Mark's website.

Seattle Wildlife
Since I have been in Seattle I have seen some of the local wildlife. We saw a lot of huge jellyfish (some basketball size!) and Mark took a neat underwater shots of one. We also saw a whole pod of seals. 30 of them were hanging out on logs floating in the water. Some decided to come right up to the boat to check us out. It was a fun afternoon on the water!

Sabine
It has been a crazy three weeks which I will post about later. But I am now in Seattle hanging out with my favorite niece for two weeks. Check out some photos (click on the photo below) of her and you will understand why I think she is the cutest.
