Happy Thanksgiving

This year felt a lot more like Thanksgiving. It was cold out, we were with family, and there was turkey! We spent Thanksgiving in Ann Arbor with Arthur's brother Mark and father Lars. It was the first time all of us had cooked a full Thanksgiving meal but it turned out great. Here are some pictures from our day:

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of Turkey.

One year ago today...

we got engaged! We were on the shores of Lake Nyasa in beautiful Mbamba Bay, Tanzania. One year later we have traveled through much of Southern Africa, returned to the states, moved to Ann Arbor, and gotten a cat. Now we are just dreaming of the good old days of hanging out on the beach, enjoying the warm weather, and eating fresh mangoes. Ann Arbor just can’t compare. But one thing Ann Arbor does have is really good restaurants so we are going to go out to dinner to celebrate. Only 282 days until we get married.

Get out and vote!

By 8:30 we had had our morning coffee, watched some gymnastics, talked to some people in line, and VOTED! By 8:45 we were home and ready to face the day with our I voted stickers. Now all we can do is keep our fingers crossed. But we can say we did our part. We hope you all enjoyed voting as much as we did. Happy Voting!
